Artist : Sobouhi Arif


Q1- What is Painting to you?

Sobouhi- Painting is like meditiation for me. It distracts me from other worries, reduces stress, build self-esteem creates a healthy state of mind.

Q2- What is your favourite color?

Sobouhi- I think all colors has their own beauty. It is difficult to give priority to a specific color but i oftenly like to work with red, blue and purple color.

Q3- Which Artist or Painter influenced you?

Sobouhi  I admire Guljee most. He was legend Artist. I loved to see his paintings when i was very young. While, my art is not even a single stroke as compare to his work. However, I am trying my best to follow his style.

Q4- Is there a work of art you would like to have in your home next to your own work?

Sobouhi- Yes, art has no limits. I respect, appreciate and inspired from other's creativity. Wherever i saw any unique art piece i want to have all those in my home.

Q5- If you were about to re-born what would you like to be? Still an Artist?

Sobouhi- I still want to be an artist and artist onlu, and want a life where i can pursue my art career from childhood, as i want to be an Artist from age of 12 years.

Q6- Do you think that today painting is unappreciated?

Sobouhi- No! today is art more appreciated. Now a day, a layman understands the scope of fine art and media science more and let their child follow this field as a professional career.

Q7- You're a new addition to the cryon box. What color would you be and why?

Sobouhi- I don't want to be a color, i want to be a rainbow that comprises combination of different colors.

Q8- Who's your most favourite Artist?

Sobouhi- As i said above Guljee. He is my inspiration from my childhood.

Q9- Why do you start making Art? How?

Sobouhi- Art is something that comes from your inside. And i love to draw, paint and create from early age. One can guess from it that i user to carve candles and chalks when i was in 7th grade.
